Become a HomeAides caregiver. Personal caregiving is one of the most important roles in society. Providing hands-on assistance to someone who needs your help to get through the daily tasks of living is a rewarding job. Help HomeAides provide non-medical personal in-home care services. Responsibilities may vary depending on client needs.
HomeAides follows state-mandated requirements for the onboarding process of all new hires joining our team. During the orientation process, all caregivers must pass a Pennsylvania State Criminal background check, child abuse history clearance, drug screening, TB test, and proof of 2 consecutive years of PA residence, (or must also pass an FBI background check via fingerprints). HomeAides also requires 2 forms of identification, a valid driver's license as well as proof of auto insurance, and at least 2 professional references. All caregivers are also required to pass all required Fraud Waste and Abuse screenings such as OIG, Medicheck, and SAMS. HomeAides will provide the necessary training in all required topics. Once orientation is complete, a schedule is assigned, working within the given availability, and care plan training will be provided for the specific needs of each client assigned to the schedule. Training will be completed annually for all caregivers during their employment with HomeAides.
